And the WINNERS are...

A massive thank you to all that helped make this raffle the huge success that it was! The entire executive and board were blown away with the incredible response that resulted in the sell out of all 500 tickets. The raffle generated some much needed income for the PLAS, and we will get into some of the projects that it will help with in a moment.

I know you're wanting to know who one, so lets get to that first.

Also, a thank you to Ice Hole Fishing Adventures for purchasing the remaining tickets on the night of the social when we gave away the prize. It was an amazing gesture, and we really appreciate it!

So where does the profit for this draw, and other PLAS fund raising efforts go to? Lots of places. Apparently, running a fair and grounds costs a little!

Many of the major general expences that PLAS has this year include new windows and a fan for the canteen. It gets very warm in that little building, and in order for the coolers to stay as cool as possible, we need to bring the room temperature down. These items will help!

Other smaller items include water hoses for the horse and cattle shows.

For the fair specifically, there's lots of expenses.

• tent and chairs

• bands

• horse and cattle show payouts

• kids entertainment

These are just a few of the items fundraised cash go towards. However, the biggest and most rewarding aspect is that we are able to keep admission to the fair FREE to anyone that comes. The Ninette Fair is one of the only fairs that we know of that is free to come and enjoy without admission cost for guests. That's pretty awesome!
